Hi Jonny!

(Best regards, Frank)
Hi stupid..
the oil-filter is on the right side of the engine . There is a small cover with the Yamaha-Logo - its just for show but you have to unscrew it anyway, and partly covered by it the real cover - held in place by five allen-head screws with different lengths. Under that you´ll find the proper cover of the oil-filter which tends to stick in place because it is held by a big O-ring. To get it out its best to grab the "cross" in the middle with pliers (if you´ve gotten this far you´ll see what I mean)and wriggle a bit. Make sure to remember the position of this litte cover because oil-flow to the filter is regulated by a hole in this cover!!
How does it say in the manuals? : Assemble in reverse order.. :-D
