Re: Clutch Cable Routing
Hi Nissbird,
your solution really cleans up the looks of the Bulldog
How does it work? Is the clutch now harder to pull? If not this could be something for the long winter evenings..
Cheers

Re: Clutch Cable Routing
Hi Axman,
I had just started work on a winter project of exhaust removal and polishing when I took a long look at the clutch cable and thought about routing it alongside the wire harness into the tank area and then down beside the throttle cables. Having placed it (which was simple) I found it rested a little to close to the rear cylinder so I purchased a stainless steel pipe clip as shown in the pictures.
The finger pressure required for the operation of the clutch does not seem to have increased, however there are more curves in the cable now which has resulted in a small but necessary adjustment being made to the clutch operating mechanism inside the engine cover.
Overall I think it enhances the look of the engine.
Regards
