Timung marks
where can I find the stationary pointer on the engine to align with the 'T' mark on the rotor? Thanks Jake {england}

Hi Jake. Its not a pointer as such. Its a groove in the top of the inspection hole. By the way if your manual is like mine it says the engine rotates anticlockwise(viewed from the left hand side). It doesent. The crank rotates clockwise(backwards) viewed from the LHS. Put it in gear & rotate the back wheel and you will see what I mean.
